This term Primary 1 and Primary 2 have enjoyed some afternoons with a family member coming in to read with them and some afternoons with Primary 6 and Primary 7. While the children got snack the parents had an imformal chat on how they can help their child at home to learn their sounds, spellings and high frequency words through games. Each week they got to try a few games with their child and read a few books. To end the programme the children got to travel to Waterstones to pick a book for themselves.
